Has anyone had experience or know someone who has worked in an orthodontist office as a hygienist? If so, what were the duties performed and what did a typical day look like? Thank you in advance!

I have never heard of a dental hygienist working in an orthodontic office but I can certainly see the value in having someone with those skill sets to remove cement from around the bands and brackets after their placement and removal. I have spent countless amounts of time removing orthodontic cement from subgingival areas as well as taking off cement that was left when the bands were removed to prevent plaque traps.
